On March 20, Governor Pritzker announced that the closure of Illinois schools will extend through April 7. In addition, a shelter in place order is in effect from March 21 at 5:00 p.m. through April 7. Beginning Monday, March 23, 2020, our buildings will be closed. Staff will be available to answer the phone remotely between the hours of 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Please call your child’s school if you have questions or concerns.
School Nurses are committed to helping children by promoting the well being, safety and educational success of every student.
We have a Certified School Nurse on staff to address your child's health and medical needs in the educational setting.
A certified School Nurse or RN is available during the school day to care for the physical health needs of students and to provide first aid in the event of sudden illness or injury.
Parents will be contacted if an emergency arises or as needed.
School Nurses seek to:
"You can't educate a child who is not healthy, and you can't keep a child healthy who is not educated."
