About First Grade

First grade is quite an exciting place to be! We love to learn to read and write with details, practice addition and subtraction in math, explore being an engineer in science, and be a community member in social studies.

Friendship, respect and responsibility are also important topics that are woven throughout each school day. First graders learn through multiple opportunities that promote and enhance different learning styles.
