On March 20, Governor Pritzker announced that the closure of Illinois schools will extend through April 7. In addition, a shelter in place order is in effect from March 21 at 5:00 p.m. through April 7. Beginning Monday, March 23, 2020, our buildings will be closed. Staff will be available to answer the phone remotely between the hours of 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Please call your child’s school if you have questions or concerns.
Please accept our open invitation to participate in your child's educational experience by being a part of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). Any time or talents you have will be of value to your child and to Corron Elementary.
The Corron Elementary PTO works to support the staff, acts as a resource to parents, and provides educational enrichment to our students through program funding and volunteerism.
Every Corron Parent is considered a member of the PTO and is welcome and encouraged to attend the meetings.

What's the first step?
There is a place for every parent who would like to volunteer at Corron. Sign up at the PTO Welcome Back Table in August or contact PTO president Megan Stone to get involved! Talk with a friend or neighbor who is actively involved with the PTO to take the first step and find out how rewarding volunteering is. It's lots of fun, and the best part is knowing what an impact you can make in your own child’s school experience! The look on their face, seeing you at school, knowing you are involved and invested in their lives - it is priceless!!
